Onyx The Therapy Dog

Available in both paperback and e-copy. I am a Miniature Schnauzer and I was born on 28 December, 2013. I was born and raised in a sunny island called Singapore! I share this page with Hachiko, the Japanese Spitz and Bartholomew, the Maltese. Human created this page to document our daily lives and what antics we get up to! boy passed on in 2005, Human have not had the courage to have another dog. The pain of separation at death was too much for her to bear. But 9 years later, she decided it was time. And when she saw me, I looked into her eyes and it worked! She could not say no to me! I have been a therapy dog since I was 2 years old. I visit schools, nursing homes and hospices to offer fur therapy to those in need. Assisi Hospice and St Luke’s Hospital are my two adopted homes. I visit the patients, volunteers and staff there. I love volunteering with Human. She always reminds me to give when we can. No matter how small a gesture, you never know what it can do. We are very happy to see the support and recognition towards therapy dogs. We are thankful and would like to share with you some of the media coverage we have been featured in so far:
