Over the past 4 years, Societal has worked with Unilever’s Sunlight on its brand purpose. It's been an amazing project, using the power of the brand to create social good by celebrating and encouraging female empowerment in Asia.
We’ve undertaken 3 different projects in those 4 years and cast over 150 women in SE Asia—looking for those who were living their passions, realising their dreams, starting their own businesses, finding time to help the less fortunate and more. They’ve included a tattooist in Vietnam to a Thai lady still working at 80 years of age, to a woman who’s set up schools to educate farmers' children in Indonesia.

We’d like to salute all the women we've featured, as well as those we simply didn't have the space to show—and our equally brave client who’s championed this very different work for a dishwashing brand!
Last year, we wrote and designed over 80 content pieces for Unilever Food Solutions. We have in-house writers and, when needed, we have writers to go to for specific projects. We’ll also find the right images to illustrate the story.
