Ainthinai - A Timeless Bond

Join us for a captivating cinematic experience that celebrates the rich ethos of the Tamil language, beautifully intertwined with modern storytelling. Directed by Darshan Kunasagran and starring Gayathri Segaran, Elangovan, and Kishore Kumaran, this film is scripted by Aswani Aswath and music by Niranjan Pandian, performed by the Brahmastra Ensemble. Prepare yourself for an immersive journey!

We are thrilled to announce that Ainthinai has been recognized as a finalist at the Sweden Film Festival 2025, won Best Sound Design at the Rameshwaram International Film Festival 2025, and received multiple accolades at the Tamizhagam International Festival, including Best Indian Short Film, Best Score, and Best Edit. Additionally, it earned an Honourable Mention for Music Score at the Los Angeles Film Festival 2025!

This special screening is proudly presented by Tampines Hub and Arts House.

[Exciting news for Ainthinai - A Timeless Bond]

We’re thrilled to announce the special presentation of Ainthinai - A Timeless Bond, directed by Darshan Kunasagran featuring music by Niranjan Pandian and an incredible cast including Kishore Kumaran, Gayathri Segaran, and Indu Elangovan.

We’re also proud to share that the film has officially been selected for the Sweden Film Festival 2025 for Best Short Film and has reached the quarter-finals of the Los Angeles Film Festival 2025 for Best Music Score! The competition is intense, and we will keep you updated as we progress.

Don’t miss this unique film musical performance—showcasing the film with a live music score by the Brahmastra Ensemble—coming to you as a special gift for SG60 and the upcoming festive period. Stay tuned for more details!

As Singapore celebrates 60 years of nation-building ( ), we’re honoured to share a piece of our vibrant culture—and the unique harmonies of Brahmastra Multi-Ethnic Ensemble—with friends in Lampung, Indonesia!

This concert and panel discussion, blending Singaporean and Indonesian artistry, reflect the power of cross-cultural collaboration. Organised by Indonesia’s Directorate of Film, Media, and Arts (Culture Ministry), this initiative is made possible through partnerships with the Central Lampung Education Office and Yayasan Murni Budaya Lampung. The performance by Brahmastra Multi-Ethnic Ensemble is supported by the National Arts Council (Singapore).

Proudly presented by Brahmastra Arts House, we’re excited to foster dialogue, creativity, and unity through music. Grateful for this opportunity to connect and grow together.
