Sharing some of our favourite moments from our 4 days in the Gold Coast!
Apart from beaches, there were so many things to do here too.
Here are some of the things we did:
📍 Skypoint Observation Deck
Australia’s only beach side observation deck with stunning panoramic views of the Gold Coast. There’s a dining area here too, so come early for sunset and snag the best seats!
📍 Visit Dreamworld
This is Australia’s largest theme park, featuring thrilling rides such as The Giant Drop, a 39 storey freefall, the Steel Taipan that goes up to 105km/h and more. If you have a faint heart like us, there are also plenty of other activities and attractions to see around the park too, so there’s definitely something for everyone.
📍Visit Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and feed wild Lorikeets
One of our favourite experience was feeding the wild Lorikeets in front of the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. There are two feeding times every day, at 8AM and 4PM. It’s a free activity, but a donation is always appreciated.
The Lorikeets have pretty sharp claws, so our tip is to wear long sleeves to cover up if you have sensitive skin.
Trust us, we learnt this the hard way.
📍 Helicopter tour
We booked a Jet Boat + Helicopter experience on and had the most amazing time. The view of the Gold Coast from above was stunning!
📍 Hike at Burleigh Heads
Multiple beautiful trails with stunning lookout points. This is a bit off the main tourist path but we would highly recommend if you have some time.
