✨ Sometimes, the chapter that challenges you the most becomes the chapter that changes you. ✨

My journey of writing this book began at the end of 2021, during one of the most difficult periods of my life. I was going through a very tough time and reached a point where I wondered if I could keep going. But somehow, I did.

In 2022, I had the incredible opportunity to write a chapter in Shaken and Stirred, Not Deterred. What started as an opportunity became a deeply personal healing journey. More importantly, I realized that sharing my story was helping other women, friends, acquaintances, and even strangers who connected with my experiences.

That taught me something powerful: we are all so much stronger than we think we are.

Tonight, being surrounded by so many amazing and inspiring women at the Global Women of Influence Awards 2026, I felt a little imposter syndrome. I found myself wondering, “Do I really deserve to be standing here?”

Then I reminded myself of how far I have come.

This moment is not just about an award or recognition. It is about resilience, healing, courage, and the power of sharing our stories. It is about remembering that even when we cannot see a way forward, we can still take the next step.

To every woman going through a difficult chapter, please keep going.

Kiran Sujanani’s story is one of courage, determination, service, and a deep commitment to making a difference. In 2011, while pursuing her Chartered Road License in Singapore, she achieved a remarkable milestone. The examiner told her that she was the first female to pass the examination in Singapore, a powerful achievement in a traditionally male dominated field.

But Kiran’s impact extends far beyond her professional accomplishments. She also volunteers with ACRES (Animal Concerns Research & Education Society) Singapore as a Wildlife Rescue Officer, dedicating her time and compassion to protecting wildlife and creating a better world for animals.

Her journey reminds us that true influence is not measured only by titles or achievements, but by the lives we touch, the barriers we break, and the causes we choose to serve.
