Gabby’s Dollhouse The Movie
“Play, Responsibility, and Growing Up”

This movie hits different. I watched it with my 2 daughters. The one who grew up with the show and about the same age as Gabby now, and her little sister.

The older one doesn’t seem to be interested anymore. She is growing up, just like Gabby.

The younger one enjoyed it. She is still at that playful stage.

Me? Mixed emotions. Yes I am the 40 year old who still plays like grandma Gigi. How? Because I was blessed with 2 lovely daughters. Because of them, I was able to play again. From pretend plays, kitchen, playdough, dollhouses, dolls.

The movie teaches us that play doesn’t have an age limit. It also teaches us to face the reality of growing up, and seeing our kids grow up. It teaches values of friendship, supporting each other, and cherished memories.

And of course, it is super cool to see Gloria Estefan and Kristin Wiig in it. My favourite part is when Gabby is talking to the “kids” in the camera and she said in her fancy Vera accent “who are we talking to?”

Day 2: Day trip to Kyoto (Sagano Romantic Train, Arashimaya Bamboo Forest / Togetsukyo Bridge, Kiyomizu-Dera, Yasaka Pagoda.
Day 3: USJ.
Day 4: Osaka Castle, Nara Deer Park, Tsutenkaku Tower, Shinsaibashi, Dotonburi.
Day 5: Travel to Tokyo, Shibuya Sky, Shibuya Crossing, Hachiko
Square, Shibuya Parco.
Day 6. Tokyo Disneysea
Day 7. Klook Tour: Lake Kawaguchiko, Chuerreito Pagoda, Oshino Hakkai, Mt Fuji 5th Station
Day 8. Tokyo Tower, Odaiba, Gundam, Shibuya Center G*i

Cucumber Salad Recipe
*we opted out the tuna because we are having chicken katsu

step 1: slice the cucumber, onions (you can add tomatoes it’s also yummy
step 2: prepare the dressing (mayo, salt, pepper, sugar to taste, lemon or calamansi)
step 3: mix
step 4: enjoy

note: you can add roasted sesame kewpie for more flavor

Chicken and Waffles for dinner

waffle recipe:

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
4 teaspoons baking powder �5 tablespoons white sugar �2 eggs �1 and 1/2 cups warm milk �⅓ cup butter, melted �1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1. mix all
2. cook for 4-5mins in waffle maker until smoke clears out

Chicken: Fairprice Japanese Style Chicken Katsu.. tastes like 👌
