’Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the land,
Not a founder was posting, not even a brand.
The LinkedIn feeds rested, with content on pause,
While visions of impact danced—thanks to old Claus.
The experts were nestled, all snug in their beds,
While thoughts of their message swirled round in their heads.
And I in my PJs (with coffee in hand),
Had just settled down to refresh my own brand.
When out on my feed there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my desk to see what was the matter.
Away to my laptop I flew like a flash,
Tore open my inbox and cleared out my cache.
The glow of my screen on my thoughtful new post
Gave a luster of purpose—(I’ll share it the most!)
When what to my wondering eyes did appear,
But a sleigh full of branding tips—festive and clear.
With a jolly old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment: it must be St. Nick!
More rapid than hashtags, his lessons they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name:
“Now Consistency! Now Story! Now Value and Cheer!
On Authenticity! On Purpose! Make your message clear!
To the top of the feed! To the hearts of them all!
Now dash away, dash away, dash away all!”
As strategies fly when the right words appear,
When they meet with connection, engagement draws near.
So up to the top of the timeline they flew,
With a sleigh full of wisdom—and St. Nicholas too.
And then, in a twinkling, I saw on my feed
The sparkle of brands who had planted their seed.
As I crafted my post, and was turning around,
Down the chimney came Santa, with insights profound.
He was dressed in his red, from his head to his foot,
And his brand was all polished—no dust, not a soot.
A bundle of content he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a leader, just opening his pack.
His eyes—how they twinkled! His tagline, how merry!
His messaging sharp, and his visuals cheery!
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And filled up my feed—then turned with a smirk.
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the timeline he rose.
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a cheer,
And away they all flew to build brands for next year.
But I heard him exclaim, as he drove out of sight—
“Happy branding to all, and to all a good night!”
