The best myopia management decisions are made in consultation, not alone.

At the HOYA MiYOSMART Case Study Contest 2026, finalists Dr. Stephanie Kearney, Dr. Vitaliya Zhurba and Marion Wolff, as well as moderators, judges and participants, explored how real-world case discussions build greater confidence in myopia control strategies.

From unique patient presentations to practical treatment decisions, the session highlighted how peer-to-peer exchange helps clinicians refine their approach, apply evidence more effectively, and expand their comfort in managing younger and more complex cases.

What stood out most was the energy in the room—an open exchange of ideas, shared learning and a collective drive to improve outcomes in everyday practice.
