HSBA at the 10th Belt and Road Summit — Collaborate for Change, Shape a Shared Future.

HSBA Chairman Mr. Dennis Chiu and fellow members proudly participated in the 10th Belt and Road Summit, held on 10–11 September 2025 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, co-organized by the HKSAR Government and HKTDC.

With over 6,000 participants, 90+ speakers, and 100+ delegations, the Summit spotlighted key themes including green finance, digital innovation, infrastructure, cross-border partnerships, and youth engagement—further reinforcing Hong Kong’s strategic role as a Belt and Road hub.

We were honoured to reconnect with many distinguished leaders, regional partners, and long-time friends, including:

- Prof Frederick Ma – Chairman, HKTDC
- Ms Margaret Fong– Executive Director, HKTDC

Celebrating the Leadership of Chairman Dennis Chiu

At HSBA’s 31st Annual General Meeting on 10 June 2025 at 同樂經典 TungLok Signature, Clarke Quay Central, we proudly honored Chairman and President Dennis Chiu with a commemorative plaque for his impactful leadership across two terms (2016-2018, 2024-2025). His leadership strengthened Hong Kong-Singapore business ties and fostered collaboration.

Members shared their heartfelt thanks and best wishes as Mr. Chiu passed the baton to our new president, Mr. Kwan Chi Man. Mr. Chiu expressed his hopes for fresh energy, bold ideas, and new opportunities under the new leadership.

A big thank you as well to our guest speaker, Mr. Owin Fung, Director of HKETO, for his warm remarks and insightful talk on Hong Kong’s growth and future potential.

With this exciting transition, HSBA is ready to embrace innovation, grow our network, and continue building strong business bridges between Hong Kong and Singapore.

The Asia Forum 2025 officially kicked off in Niigata, Japan, with a warm and elegant Welcome Dinner that brought together delegates from across Asia.

Organized by the Federation of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide, this annual regional conference (May 21 - 23) provides a vital platform for business leaders, entrepreneurs, and policymakers to exchange insights, foster collaboration, and strengthen regional networks.

The Welcome Dinner set the tone for three days of engaging dialogue, cultural exchange, and forward-looking partnerships.
