We had the privilege of filming with him and the Tang Dynasty Shipwreck treasures some years ago … just a part of his work on the Maritime Silk Road
He first came to Singapore in 1968 en route to Kedah with the US Peace Corps … would have loved talking to him about his time there

Over the years, we’ve worked with Jason multiple times and found him to be kind, conscientious and a fab asset on any film crew … our go-to first call to be a member of our team. Now based in Bangkok, we couldn’t not get in touch for a mini reunion with his 2 doggie rescues, Sammie and Sethi … indeed the Two Chiefs got to hang with the Two Doggies 🕺🏻🕺🏻🐺🐺 ُ 🎥

Many thanks to .t.bukitbrown for organizing the BUKIT BROWN SPIRIT FILM FESTIVAL … Even after more than a decade since -produced was seen in public, its theme of heritage and habitat loss still resonates … maybe even more than ever
The post-screening Q&A and panel brought up issues about the tension between the needs of the living and acknowledging the need to preserve places that make it worth living
Lovely chatting to various folks who saw our film for the first time and those who were re-visiting the film, and seeing places that don’t exist anymore … Director of photography won lots of praise for capturing the beauty of the beloved Bukit Brown cemetery
