Our Founder and Chief Maths Coach, Teacher David Ng, has more than 20 years’ teaching experience including more than 11 years’ full-time paid tuition and more than 10 years of volunteering teaching experience in Singapore Boys Home, University of New South Wales as a peer mentor teaching undergraduates engineering Maths and as requested by his then school Maths teacher to help weaker students in b
oth primary and secondary schools. He is also a secondary school Mathematics assessment book author. He place high emphasis on concepts and understanding with independent learning skill coaching and technique. He would explain concepts thoroughly to ensure student’s understanding of subjects. He would refrain to spoon-feed solutions to students but would teach students how to master subject independently with certain key guidelines. Students had made tremendous improvement, mostly a jump of minimum 20 marks. Almost 90% of our students have obtained distinctions in their O-Level and 100% of our students so far have obtained at least a B3 in their GCE O levels in the last 7 years. He has taught students from Hwa Chong IP, Raffles Institution IP, Dunman High IP, Victoria School IP, St Nicholas Girls IP, Temasek JC IP, Temasek Secondary, Anglican High, SJI IGCSE and various neighbourhood schools Additional Mathematics. Most recently, two students from St Nicholas girls IP made improvement from scoring 70s to above 90s.
