Going against the grain, and unapologetically rebellious. First known as Dalsix Visser and making waves through the Singapore Dark Alternative Movement (SDAM), it soon became ravenous with hunger to consume knowledge through various local subcultures. Armed with a GoPro and passionate vision to showcase an audio-visual presentation of unedited chaos, Heirs of Mayhem was the moshpit POV that documented local legends and rising stars alike in various venues across Singapore. The breakthrough was inevitable, and Heirs of Mayhem found itself in international shores soon after. From the annual Weltturbojugendtage in Hamburg, music events across Europe and America, as well as documenting festivities in Asia-Pacific. The pandemic might have changed trajectories, but it served as a perfect opportunity for this passion project to reinvent itself. Older, wiser, but with a fire that still burns, York Hill Pride continues to showcase the subculture through authentic lenses, without mainstream intervention nor pander to algorithm expectations. York Hill Pride exists, because of the community, and for the community. Past collaborations include the Singapore Dark Alternative Movement (SDAM), Metal Horde Singapore, MADNESS Magazine, RCGNTN, Jioplaygame, Indie Wavemakers, 4ZZZ, and more in the pipeline.
