S’porean hawker keeps noodles at S$2.50 for nearly 20 years to help low income residents ❤️

Despite Covid-19 and GST price hikes, Ke Xianzhong and Liu Lixiang still serve minced meat noodles, fishball noodles and lor mee from just S$2.50 at their Circuit Road stall.

The affordable prices are meant for low income and elderly residents - many of whom return daily and some even insist on paying more.

Teochew Handmade Pau to close down on 31st Dec after 32 years 🥺

Started in 1993 by Uncle Yeoh at Toa Payoh West Market, Teochew Handmade Pau, will be closing after nearly 3 decades.

Known for their affordable S$1 - S$2 handmade paus and dim sum, the stall is closing due to rising costs and labour challenges.
