The School of Governance & Public Service of Southwestern University PHINMA is proud to host Dr. JC Punongbayan, economist and Associate Professor at the University of the Philippines School of Economics, for a special discussion of his new book, 𝗧𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗗𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗗-𝟭𝟵 𝗪𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆. The book talk and forum will go behind the work itself by exploring what moved the author to write it, the questions that shaped the book, and the broader story he hopes readers will take from it.

This in-person event will be on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝟵:𝟬𝟬 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟬:𝟯𝟬 𝗔𝗠 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗪𝗨 𝗣𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗠𝗔 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 (𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿: 𝗧𝗕𝗔). Attendance is limited to pre-registered SWU PHINMA students, faculty, staff, and invited external GPS partners due to venue capacity.

Guests who bring or purchase a copy of the book will have the opportunity to have it signed by Dr. Punongbayan during the event.
