MyAviation Magazine Launches Issue 18: Pioneering Malaysia’s First Pilot-Led Medevac Healthcare Initiative

Kuala Lumpur, 15 October 2025 MyAviation Magazine is proud to announce the release of Issue 18, available starting tomorrow, marking another significant milestone in Malaysia’s aviation and healthcare landscape.

This upcoming issue highlights a potential Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to be signed in 2026 between MyAviation Magazine and strategic healthcare partners, a visionary step toward establishing dedicated medevac bases within healthcare facilities to enhance emergency response efficiency nationwide.

Over the past year, MyAviation Magazine’s founder, Adam Sathis Kumar, has travelled extensively across Malaysia and abroad to study and understand the challenges faced in medical evacuation (medevac) operations. His findings have inspired a new initiative that aims to bridge aviation expertise with healthcare infrastructure, improving patient transfer times and boosting Malaysia’s standing in medical tourism and private healthcare innovation.

“Through MyAviation Magazine, we’re introducing Malaysia’s first pilot-led medevac healthcare concept, a collaboration that represents both compassion and progress,” said Adam Sathis Kumar, Editor-in-Chief of MyAviation Magazine. “It’s time to bring aviation closer to hospitals because the future of healthcare doesn’t just lie on the ground, but in the skies.”
