Just checked out the brand-new FairPrice at Elias Mall and there’s actually quite a bit to explore! 🛒✨

The seafood section caught my attention first — it has FairPrice’s largest 24-foot, 2-tier ice bed, plus Shop-and-Collect and complimentary on-demand fish vacuum packing.

There’s also a new East-meets-West wellness concept at Unity, where you can do a FREE 3-minute Tanita body composition check and get personalised recommendations from its AI-powered Wellness Genie.

Of course I had to check out the food too! 😂 Look out for new grocery finds, the colourful Fruit Series Sushi Collection and $5 value bentos when you need a quick meal.

And from 1–30 Sep, scan at the door for a chance to win $100 Golden Ticket vouchers. There are also gifts to redeem when you collect stamps with your purchases.

8am oyster omelette… very rare I eat like this for breakfast. 😂 Quite wicked, but my friend recommended it, so of course I had to try!

Others don’t impress me but okay, the fried oyster is legit. Crispy egg, gooey starchy bits and those fat, juicy oysters — shiok, especially with their chilli. 🦪

Oh wow, Peach Blossoms’ Charcoal Lychee with Longan, Wolfberries & Okinawan Brown Sugar Mochi mooncake is so good! 🥮 I love the chewy mochi centre and subtle tea notes with that gentle fruity sweetness — a refreshing change from the traditional flavours.

It’s part of their Delightful Four Collection, together with Double Yolk White Lotus, Single Yolk White Lotus and Charcoal Peach Long Jing with Okinawan Brown Sugar Mochi.

This year, they’ve also launched the new Timeless Duo in Opulence Box ($65.80), featuring:
🥮 Double Yolk with White Lotus (Low Sugar)
🍑 Charcoal Peach Long Jing with Okinawan Brown Sugar Mochi

Perfect if you don’t need a huge box of mooncakes!

✨ Use code MTCP20 for 20% off the Timeless Duo in Opulence Box and selected Delightful Four collections.

One night only: 6 courses, 6 Spanish food & drink pairings! 🥂

As part of Eat Spain Drink Spain 2026, My Little Spanish Place at Bukit Timah Road is serving up a special 6-course dinner at $98/person.

My favourite has to be the Cochinillo Asado. The Spanish suckling pig had that lovely contrast of crisp, crackling skin and tender, juicy meat.

I also enjoyed the Gamba Roja Crudo, chargrilled Pulpo, and the comforting Paella de Marisco, before finishing with their Basque Burnt Cheesecake. Each course is paired with a cocktail or premium Fundador/Emperador brandy.

A pretty fun way to eat (and drink!) your way through Spain without leaving Singapore.

📅 15 Sep 2026, 6.45pm onwards
💰 $98/person

This $5.50 KL-style chilli pan mee at Chinatown Complex quite shiok! Give everything a good mix — springy ban mian, minced pork, mushrooms, crispy ikan bilis, pork lard, fried garlic, onsen egg and that punchy chilli paste. Full of texture in every bite!

买月饼了吗?🥮 If you’re still deciding, here are three from Hai Tien Lo at Pan Pacific Singapore that I really enjoyed!

The signature Hai Tien Lo No. 1 Tea Baked Mooncake is fragrant without being overly sweet. The subtle tea notes balance the smooth lotus paste beautifully, especially with a hot cup of tea.

The new Roselle with Wolfberries & White Lotus Paste is refreshing and slightly tangy, giving the traditional lotus paste a lighter twist.

Durian lovers, go straight for the Mao Shan Wang Durian Snow Skin Mooncake — creamy, rich and bittersweet with that unmistakable MSW flavour. Best enjoyed chilled!

The floral box also doubles as a jewellery box, making it a pretty Mid-Autumn gift.

Checked out this gorgeous glasshouse café tucked inside one-north. The Avocado Toast came loaded with creamy smashed avocado, poached eggs, ricotta, cherry tomatoes and rocket on a thick slice of toasted sourdough.

Also loved the Truffle Egg Mayo Sando — chunky egg mayo with a good hit of truffle, plus those jammy eggs in the middle, sandwiched between thick, buttery toasted bread.

Café Artévo is hidden inside the Wilmar International building, so it really feels like a little weekday escape.

Rare that I’m all the way in the West for a shoot, so of course must find something to eat first. 😂

Stopped by Hock Lian Huat Prawn Cracker in Choa Chu Kang for some old-school wu xiang. This stall has been around for more than 20 years!

Love ordering a whole spread to share — prawn crackers, ngoh hiang, tau kwa and all the fried goodness, then dip everything generously into that chilli. Simple and very shiok before work.
