An Fitness ride.
I initially thought this was supposed to be a group ride until Boss Ben Chew said before the start; " We ride the FASTEST WE CAN!"

Challenge Accepted 🫡🚴🏼
Mentally pushed myself with what I believe my getting stronger Body. YOU GOTTA BELIEVE IN YOURSELF, OR WHO ELSE WILL? 😅

Together with my newly acquired technique in Pedalling, I delivered my best sustained Power output so far. I hope it doesn't stop here. ❤️🙏🏻

So many takeaways tonight!!!

1. Interval workout, indeed worked! (My first time trying) I still have power at my last mile. Amazing!!! Burst for 20s then recover for 3mins.

2. Discovered a more efficient way of pedalling (biomechanics of feet), i had sustained power above 150 for a long time and didnt feel burned. I never felt this strength before since i had my bike 3months ago. This is an amazing lesson that i will never forget starting tonight.

3. I focused on my Power output also, instead of Speed. (First time also)

Ditched the TT Top tube bag to appreciate the real shape of my bike.
In the end, found an Aero Saddle bag (0.3L) from Decathlon Singapore for S$14.9

Inside:

Patch kit,
4 5 allen key,
1 TPU Tube,
2 Tyre Lever ❤️

Portable pump hiding behind bottle,
Has its own mount, Screwed together with the bottle cage at Down Tube.

Efficient when everything is there, but lightweight and aero enough to go. 🚴🏼🚴🏼

Challenges in Cycling don't get easier,

What Doesn't Kill us, makes us STRONGER.

In this Episode, I knew it was gonna be difficult.
As my Body still adapts to the longer rides.
But I know I'll gain nothing if I'm not gonna do it.
So I did it. ❤️

Garmin said, i still have 50hrs to rest/recover from the East Half of Singapore the other day.
Stubborn me, last night we finished the West Half!
Now im back to 93 hours of recovery. 🤣 Worth it!!!

It was a surreal moment that I cant take it for granted to be able to reach as far as the infamous Lim Chu Kang Rd haunted bus stop. 🫣🫣 One thing Im sure, I would never have gone to if it wasn't for my bike. There was just no reason for me to go there.

Glad to have a cycling buddy last night, if it wasn't for Miguel Paras, id be screaming all through out the Lim Chu Kang Rd. 🤣😨😱🙀

Didn't plan it. I just did it.
2 months into road cycling, with so little time, managed to squeeze the thing for self improvement.
