Just one look at & , and you know; ah, this is a perfect match. Not just the “夫妻脸” kind of matching, but the rare, soul-level compatibility kind.

I’ve known Teri for years; this 小妹 was friendly, easy-going, the kind you can chat with effortlessly, zero stress. And then there’s Brian… introverted, economical with words, and famously hard to extract a sentence from. 😄 Yet somehow, they fit. Perfectly.

Brian shared he never understood why his friends’ wives had to “make noise” when they’re out having fun (MJ mostly). And then, he met Teri. The unicorn who really doesn’t mind at all.

On stage, when I asked for a couple’s action and Brian instinctively reached out to shake Teri’s hand. No frills, with unintended humour, it said everything. A quiet gesture, marking a partnership for a lifetime.

Here’s to love that feels natural, companionship that feels steady, and a marriage built on understanding, humour, and mutual ease.

This was Ho Liao’s first and probably the last wedding banquet. Thanks for having us and congratulations, you both! 🥂 🤍✨

✨🌕 Mid-Autumn under the moonlight at Braddell Heights!

Had the honour of hosting Braddell Heights Celebrates Mid-Autumn 2025, graced by Mr Seah Kian Peng, Speaker of Parliament and Adviser to Marine Parade – Braddell Heights GRC GROs.

With over 1000 residents joining in the fun, the energy, laughter, and performances were simply amazing!

Having attended countless Mid-Autumn celebrations by grassroots committees since young, being on stage this time truly brought back so many good ol’ memories of lanterns, mooncakes, and community spirit. 💛

Hosted Kopi Chat: Defining Our Singaporean Dream, jointly organised by Bedok Youth Network and the National Youth Council . 🇸🇬☕

Such a privilege to be joined by Mr Dinesh Vasu Dash , Minister of State (MCCY & MOM), Mayor of South East District and Adviser to East Coast GRC Grassroots Organisations (Bedok).

The session gave us all a chance to reflect on the National Day Rally (NDR), and explore what the Singaporean Dream means to young people today. From the future of work to caring for youths, seniors, and sustainability, it was an eye-opening dialogue filled with thoughtful perspectives.

Loved being part of this meaningful exchange — our dreams may differ, but our Singapore story is one we write together. 💫

PromiseLand’s Annual Dinner 2025 🎉✨

My first time hosting this prestigious evening — and also the first time PromiseLand engaged a professional emcee! Truly honoured 🙏

Who would have thought that buying insurance could land me this gig? “Heng ah, I bought insurance!” 😆

As a salesperson myself, I know how much it means to be recognised for a year’s worth of hard work. That night, we celebrated the top performers of PromiseLand — MDRT, COT, and TOT qualifiers. Eye-opening to see how generously the company rewards their achievers (yes, those stacks of cash 💵 are real!).

It was also my very first time hosting a live bid — with the PromiseLand family bidding for paintings created by the beneficiaries of Lions Befrienders. A beautiful way to give back to the community ❤️

What a night to remember! ✨

Ever wondered what it’s like to be a radio DJ outside the studio? 🎤

Today, our DJs were out at the BYD Outdoor Broadcast (we call this “OB”), and I couldn’t help but admire how much they juggle — bringing content to life, timing their talk sets, managing the control panel, and still greeting listeners with their brightest smiles ✨

It’s not just about speaking on the mic — it’s about multitasking like a pro, staying sharp, and being the voices and the faces of the station.

Major respect to my fellow DJs who do it all, rain or shine. 💛

An honour to return as the opening emcee for by Children’s Cancer Foundation — now in my 3rd year supporting this meaningful cause.

I had the privilege of hosting the Opening Ceremony with , hearing from CCF Chairman Dr Kevin Tay and Mr Eric Chua .sg , Senior Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Law & Ministry of Social and Family Development. Their words reminded us just how vital this movement is in rallying support and hope for children with cancer and their families.

One of the most heartwarming moments?
Meeting a family of four — including a 13-year-old boy and 9-year-old girl — all queuing up to shave their heads together. That’s solidarity. That’s love.

🎧 Fun Radio DJ Fact: We don’t just talk — we tech too!

Besides doing my own talksets, I’m also the one controlling the panel for DJs out on Outdoor Broadcast (OB) for today!

That means coordinating talk times, managing who says what, and literally switching on their mics from the studio. It’s like air traffic control — but make it ✨RADIO✨.

So yes, being a DJ isn’t just about having a nice voice or simply talking… it’s also about being tech-savvy, focused, and knowing which button not to press. 😂

People, stories, and the little moments that make me love this job. ❤️

Hosted the Forward SG: Together for a Better Roadshow again over the weekend, and every event reminds me how special it is to meet people from all walks of life.

Yesterday?
A primary school boy stared at a feather duster like it was alien technology 🪶👀, and a preschool girl was fascinated by a traditional hand fan (the kind we used to fan charcoal fires with!) — reminding me how quickly the world changes, and how much we learn from each other, across generations.

Grateful to be part of conversations that shape Singapore’s future, one smile and “huh?” moment at a time.

“You’re a radio DJ? People still listen to the radio ah? How to tune in ah?” 👀

Yes, my friends. RADIO STILL EXISTS.
And no, it’s not just Mediacorp. There are three radio companies in Singapore — SPH and Safra included, thank you very much. 😤📻

Before TikTok, before IG Reels, before even YouTube — radio was how we got our news, music, and drama. Fast, real, and oh-so-personal (without filters!).

Behind every mic is a team — on-air and behind the scenes — still hustling hard to keep the airwaves alive with stories, laughter, and good vibes only.

Sure, new media is snazzy and cool and has algorithm hacks. But radio is soul. It’s where I started, where I grew, and where I still am (catch me on UFM100.3 till 2pm, wink wink 😉).

Two weddings. Two beautiful love stories. Endless unforgettable moments. 💍💫

I recently had the joy of hosting the weddings of Heng Chun & Yao Jia and Gavin & Xin Yi — and let me tell you, no two weddings are ever the same!

From creative firsts to emotional ring exchanges, both celebrations came with fresh experiences and heartfelt surprises.

As an emcee, I’m always game for something new — whether it’s guiding a solemnization with different March-in combinations, narrating a 6-year love story that spans from London to SG, or hyping up the crowd for a surprise performance. It’s not just about hosting, it’s about co-creating magic with every couple.

To my future wedding couples: I’m ready for more! More stories to tell, new formats to try, and more memories to create — let’s make your big day uniquely yours. 💞

Cable cars, sweeping views, and a whole lotta love!

CK & Cecilia tied the knot atop Mount Faber and what a sweet ride it was. From heartfelt gestures for guests (many flew in just for them!) to a hilltop celebration filled with joy, it was pure magic.

Extra special spending Mother’s Day emceeing for this lovely duo—surrounded by fellow mums, happy tears, and all the good vibes. Love really does lift us higher!

I had the joy of hosting the Ang Mo Kio GRC, Kebun Baru and Yio Chu Kang SMCs’ Family Fun-tastic Carnival!

It was such a heartwarming event — with lively performances by schools and community groups, plus tons of family-friendly activities that filled the space with smiles, laughter, and love.

A truly special moment for me too: I had the honour of meeting Senior Minister Mr Lee Hsien Loong for the very first time as a proud Singaporean.

So grateful to be part of celebrations that bring communities closer together!
