Working in partnership with Professor Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Minister for Planning, Development & Special Initiatives, and government counterparts, we aim to accelerate the Digital Pakistan vision using high-quality satellite connectivity.

Together, we share a commitment to advancing inclusive, reliable, and high-speed internet access nationwide, empowering communities, driving innovation, and enabling sustainable growth.

We look forward to continuing our collaboration with the Government of Pakistan and partners to help make this digital transformation a reality.

At a landmark ceremony organized by SUPARCO in Islamabad, Federal Minister Prof. Ahsan Iqball inaugurated High-Speed Internet and Commercial Satellite Connectivity, marking a historic step toward a digitally connected, innovation-driven Pakistan.

Through the integration of space technology, fiber optics, and 5G networks, the Government is turning connectivity into competitiveness, connecting deserts, mountains, and coastlines; linking schools, clinics, and digital labs; and preparing for Pakistan’s first space mission to the ISS by 2026.

This is how URAAN Pakistan is transforming access into empowerment and inclusion into opportunity.

Bringing the Pacific closer through connectivity. 🌏

Kacific is proud to have embarked on a transformative project connecting 100 educational institutions and healthcare facilities across the Pacific Islands, in partnership with the APNIC Foundation and IslandTech Solomons.

This initiative was designed to address the persistent digital divide faced by rural and remote island communities, where access to reliable terrestrial infrastructure, such as fibre, cable, or mobile networks, remains limited. Without affordable, high-speed internet, communities often face long travel times to access connectivity; healthcare facilities struggle to deliver essential services; and schools remain under-resourced in digital tools.

Through satellite broadband, we're helping to bridge these gaps, providing a resilient and scalable connectivity solution that empowers equitable access to education, healthcare, and information. By bringing affordable internet to 100 schools and healthcare centres, Kacific directly supports better learning outcomes, improved healthcare delivery, and stronger, more connected communities.

A big thank you to APNIC Foundation , our local partners, and community leaders who made this possible — together, we're helping people gain access to government services, improve livelihoods, and stay connected to regional and global knowledge networks. 💫

On International Internet Day, we celebrate how connectivity is reaching more people than ever before. 🌏

Satellite technology plays a massive role in making this possible, bringing the internet to places traditional networks can't reach. Through Kacific1 and Paksat-MM1R, communities across the Asia-Pacific are now part of a growing digital ecosystem.

Milestones That Matter:
- 500,000+ end users now connected
- Coverage expanding across 26 countries
- Reaching a potential 600 million people — and growing

Today is a reminder that the internet isn't just infrastructure — it's an opportunity, opening doors to education, communication, and innovation, even in the most remote locations.

Connectivity has the power to turn isolation into opportunity.

In Palawan, one remote resort once faced significant challenges. Staff had to travel 37 kilometres to the nearest town to access the internet, while the unreliable internet on-site left guests frustrated and dissatisfied.

With Kacific's satellite broadband service, delivered in partnership with Apocomm those barriers are addressed. Quick deployment and responsive support brought reliable connectivity directly to the resort.

Today, with a complimentary upgrade boosting speeds from 40 Mbps to up to 130 Mbps, staff can manage operations seamlessly without leaving the property, while guests enjoy high speed and reliable internet throughout their stay. What was once a struggle is now a strength, creating satisfaction, efficiency and progress.
