We have another post by who’s read a new title sent to us by ❤️

“Our Own Voices is a poignant and insightful collection of personal narratives and poems that delve into the complexities of mental health.

Through the voices of the different narrators, the stories offered a raw and authentic portrayal of the human experience. This book is a testament to the power of vulnerability and the importance of sharing one’s story.

Despite the challenges of presenting a diverse range of perspectives, the book offers a message of hope and resilience. It demonstrates that recovery is possible, even in the face of adversity.

‘Every cloud has its silver lining. I have gilded these forbidding thunderclouds with fresh hope, silvers of light and a startling joy.’

‘Healing is not linear. It’s not a positive gradient. It’s a curvy, wavy mess.’

Remember, it’s ok to be not ok.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

Thank you, — a perfect read for World Mental Health Day ❤️

Today’s young reader review is by
Jared, he’s 8! Here’s what he says, as dictated to his Mama .g ❤️

“This book is about a 10 year old girl who’s the toughest kid from a rough housing estate.

The most interesting part of the story is the twist in the plot when Agatha discovers why the policemen are chasing after her!

This quirky adventure kept me on the edge of my seat and now I want to read more. I finished the book in two days.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

This series is a spinoff from Neil Humphreys’ Princess Incognito books, and Jared’s Mama says she needs to hunt those down too. Thank you, Jared, I love that you love reading 📖
