The Heart Behind Emerald Valley 🩵
If Emerald Valley Apartments had a soul, it would be Katarina. She’s the one “guilty” for it all the dreamer, the visionary, and the one who saw the potential in this old house tucked into the Soča Valley. Without her, Emerald Valley simply wouldn’t exist 🏡
Although design isn’t her professional field, Katarina personally created every detail of the apartments, drawing layouts, choosing materials, and imagining what would make each space feel like a true home. Her hands and her heart are in every corner 🥰
More than a host, Katarina brings genuine warmth and care to each guest experience. She believes hospitality is not about perfection, but about connection. Whether she’s offering you local tips, a kind word, or simply a smile, she’s always present with sincerity.
When she's not at Emerald Valley, you’ll likely find her on a mountaintop. A true “mountain goat” at heart, Katarina is happiest when she’s hiking through the Julian Alps, chasing sunsets, or sitting beside the Soča River she adores. She also knows many secret, unmarked places in the valley quiet corners of nature not found on any official map ⛰️
