Slovenia is a land of castles 🏰
Some were turned into hotels, others beautifully restored, while many still bear the marks of time.

One such example is Dvor Castle in Preddvor, which had fallen into disrepair. But a few years ago, Slovenian couple rented it and brought it back to life, transforming the castle into a museum and vibrant cultural space.

Their efforts have preserved its history while opening it to the public for events, exhibitions, and community gatherings. The castle also features a charming wine cellar. 🥂

Let's go Slovenia recently joined a group of Slovenian travel writers and bloggers on a visit to Kamnik — a quiet little gem nestled near Ljubljana, framed by the stunning Kamnik-Savinja Alps. 🏡🏔️

There’s definitely something special in the air (or maybe the water) there. Over the past decade, Kamnik has quietly earned its reputation as the unofficial capital of Slovenia’s craft beer scene. 👍

Our hosts Beer Way Slovenia / Pot Piva Slovenija took us deep into the heart of the town, where we tasted our way through its story — one cold, flavorful glass of beer at a time. 🍺🍻
