'Despite its apparent fragility, Irene Tomažin’s voice conceals an unimaginable power and grandeur, which is most evident in the moments when she deliberately creates a contrast between the most delicate vocalizations and the most powerful, unrestrained straining of her vocal cords. The difference between the two concerts was considerable. The album arrangements, the work of Andraž Mazi and Aldo Ivančič, only truly came to life in all their grandeur at Klub CD. Both the refined guitar harmonies and the enchanting polyphony of the Tomažin, Godler, Beltram trio were given greater expression, breathing additional depth into the instrumental parts. Samo Kutin was also quite expressive this time, having more room for bursts of free improvisation. He enhanced the arrangements with piercing timbres and, at times, wild playing—ranging from rumbling, various noises, and pure clatter to textures that sounded almost electronic. With his hurdy-gurdy, he pierced through and “distorted” the mostly beautiful-sounding instrumental dialogues of the rest of the band, thereby adding an even more experimental touch to Irena’s avant-pop songs. As expected, the concert was quite emotional, perhaps even transformative for many. Irena Tomažin’s lyrics hit hard in person, sometimes so powerfully that you might unconsciously slip into nostalgic reflections on childhood or relive past loves. Her music possesses the power to unravel the tangles of the heart! The emotional ritual we witnessed at Klub CD felt quite cathartic, despite its early slot in the festival lineup. With her gentleness and down-to-earth presence, the artist quickly won over the audience and took them on a cathartic sonic journey with numerous highlights, such as the epilogue to *Vsemu kar je blizu*. The expanded lineup of iT certainly has the potential to break through international barriers with the Slovenian-English material they presented and, as a representative of Slovenian avant-folk-rock creativity, to reach foreign audiences as well.'
