Ta teden v Šiški!

Septembrski Kamizdat Rentgen bo v živo predstavil dve prihajajoči izdaji dveh izmed vodilnih glasov sodobne elektroakustične glasbe – OKA in beepblip –, ki poslušalca vodita v potopitvena izkustva razčlenjenih prostorov, zamaknjenih glasov in naključnih algoritmičnih ritmov.

Oktobra sledi eksplozija modularne sinteze! Skupnost Clockwork Voltage v sodelovanju z italijansko kolektivno silo Bologna Modulare odpira prvi dan Clockwork Voltage Roaming Festivala 2025, ki bo cel mesec prepletal različne klube po Sloveniji z eksplozijo zvoka, improvizacije in eksperimenta.

V Slovenijo se vrača tudi mednarodna zasedba Tututu Orchestra, ki bo v Kinu Šiška pripravila poseben koncert, navdihnjen z jazzom, impresionizmom ter glasbenimi tradicijami različnih kultur. Dogodek bo obogaten z nastopom udeležencev glasbene delavnice in kolektiva gibalcev Pre-gibni pokret iz združenja Cirkokrog.

'Rhythmagogia, a SuperCollider composition, uses random rhythmic sequences of the Slime Mould Algorithm to contemplate the properties of non-human logic. Rhythmagogia is an invented term, combining ρυθμός rhythmos- "any regular recurring motion or symmetry" and αγωγός -agōgos, meaning “conducting or leading”. Some scientists suggest that slime mould learns solutions and stores them to recall later. In human terms, this is called memory and is attributed to logical processes.'

Almost every year on Netlabel Day (July 14) Kamizdat is releasing a compilation in the Access Frame series. The main theme of these compilations is a consideration of the accessibility of culture, the creative community, the artistic community and the commodification of music in the digital age. Every year we try to ignite the sparks of inspiration with a specific focus - this year we are looking at the phenomenon of autonomy in its affirmative or counter-political forms as an inspiration for musical expression.

This year's episode is set again as a traditional compilation of independent compositions, which are contributed by invited music creators depending on the theme.
