9A/S55X/P is QRV from is. Krk, near Stara Baška town, IOTA 🏝EU-136, IOCA🏝🇭🇷CI-047, POTA🏞HR-0141, HR-0226

From today until Saturday, I will be active from POTA parks HR-0141 and HR-0226. The island also has the IOTA reference EU-136 and CI-046.

I will mainly be active in digital mode FT8 (possibly a bit of FT4) and some SSB, as I am on vacation with my family so family holiday operation style 😜

SP DX contest 🇵🇱
This weekend, the SP DX Contest took place. At first, I thought I’d just hand out a few points for an hour or so, but things really opened up for me on the 80m band. I managed to log a nice number of QSOs on 3.5 MHz and 14 MHz, while 1.8 MHz I just briefly scanned and barely heard anything. As for 7 MHz, I’ve been having persistent QRM issues for a while now and still haven’t been able to track down the source.

Big thanks to all the SP operators for a great contest!

Today, a national ARON (Amateur Radio Emergency Network) exercise is taking place across Slovenia. The exercise scenario assumes an incident at the Krško Nuclear Power Plant. I reported to the municipal radio station, which collected data and relayed it to the regional team.

I was QRV on the local FM network, the local DMR repeater, and the professional ZARE communication system.
