. Much to Grim’s delight, we had a wintery start to the Polar Night season 🌨️🫶🏻.

Now a storm is howling outside with plus degrees, melting away all that beauty! Hopefully the snow returns next week🤞🏻.

. From 9am to midnight on Svalbard — this is what the day looks like right now 🌙.
♡
We’re down to just 4.5 hours of daylight, and in a few days, the sun will set for the last time 🙏🏻 It doesn’t turn pitch black right away though, each day after the last sunset gets a little darker, until mid-November when we’ll be living in complete darkness. 🩵
