One of the major projects delivered by TracoApps is our solution for the Al Jazeera television network. We have integrated our broadcast application, Traco AI, directly into their production workflow. Al Jazeera broadcasts to more than 150 countries and reaches over 430 million viewers.

Functions such as automatic speech-to-text transcription, translation into 32 languages, facial recognition, and live subtitling all run in real time and in full production mode.

The system architecture is built on a platform featuring 6× Intel Xeon Platinum processors, 6× NVIDIA H100 NVL GPUs, 600 GB of video memory, and 3 TB of RAM. The deployment aims to support 150,000 hours of speech transcription, 150,000 hours of machine translation, and other large-scale processing tasks. As of now, we have reached 40,000 hours for each of these services.

We have become a key technology partner for Al Jazeera in the areas of artificial intelligence, automation, and digital transformation, and we have significantly strengthened our position in the Middle East region.

TracoApps will once again be part of NAB Show, taking place April 5–9, 2025, in Las Vegas. This is the world’s largest trade show for the media industry. We will be showcasing practical solutions in areas that are shaping the future of broadcasting—such as artificial intelligence, automation, and efficient content management.

We’ll demonstrate the integration of Traco AI with MediaCentral Cloud UX, including practical examples of how AI can be effectively used in editorial workflows. These will include real use cases from a recent implementation at Al Jazeera. Also available will be a demo of the Traco GFX app, which integrates Avid with Vizrt.

👍 At the Octopus Newsroom booth (SL8513):
We’ll present the TracoApps plugin for Octopus Newsroom and Traco AI for more efficient content processing. This includes automated voiceover generation in Avid MediaCentral | Cloud UX using a selected AI voice, including the option to replicate the voice of a real presenter. This solution eliminates common issues with background noise in newsrooms and inconsistent audio quality. All it takes is writing the script in Octopus, selecting a voice, and Traco AI with MediaCentral | Cloud UX takes care of the rest.

We’ll showcase Traco GFX integration for Camio Luci, enabling faster and easier creation of broadcast graphics.
