The Liberal Herald The Liberal Herald is an interdisciplinary academic platform founded at the Bratislava International School of Liberal Arts.

We firmly believe that education is a dialectical process. In other words, what best facilitates learning is the confrontation of one's own theses with the antitheses of others. It was with this conviction in mind that we conceived The Liberal Herald – as a platform for promoting academic discourse among aspiring scholars. We seek to fill a gap in the Central & Eastern European academic space by p

roviding undergraduate students of arts & humanities with a chance to present and promote their work in our journal and conferences alongisde scholars and professors with more experience. Our plan is to broaden our sphere of activities, by regularly publishing an online journal, whereas the original format of an annual conference followed by a printed journal would remain.
