Our artist Q&A series continues, this time featuring .felber

Oskar Felber’s new paintings focus on fictional portraits, heads and characters whose identities float or sink across the canvas, partially veiled by brushwork and geometric forms.

Last month VUNU showcased a selection of these recent works in NEVER ENOUGH, highlighting Felber’s intuitive, performative process and layering of oil and acrylic.

Felber’s practice continues to probe the anxiety and thrill of image-making itself, blurring boundaries between abstraction, figuration and storytelling.
