𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗦𝗔𝗞𝗘 - 𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗠𝗔𝗡 𝗙𝗧. 𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗢 🎶 🎼 🎵
So we caught up with the architects of the track to get some insight as well as a first listen of the track. After five years working with the label, producing some other massive hits like 𝗕𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗞 𝗡 𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗘, 𝗥𝗢𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗖 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟, "𝗣𝗔𝗨𝗟 𝗣𝗔𝗟𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗦" originally etched and sketched this track in March of 2023. Vocals on just one verse were done sometime later and the track was shelved temporarily.
After another five months the track was commissioned again with a second verse to it. After review and 𝗤&𝗔, there was something missing. Folks, the beat itself, void of vocals is a 𝗛𝗜𝗧, but the complete project was just not yet complete. It needed something extra to launch 🚀 it outta Lungi. One name was recommended and it was unanimous it had to be 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗭𝗢 𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗢. The hook on this track is in a local dialect, 𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘, and 𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗢 commands this in his music repertoire. After his management red tape, and other gigs from 𝗘𝗖𝗢 𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗞, 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗭𝗢 𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗢 finally hit the lab at 1am late July to lay his vocals. Done zipped and e-mailed to 𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗦𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗 in 🇳🇬 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮 to mix and master.
Right off the top, the song starts off with the hook and 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗭𝗢 𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗢 let his presence known with his signature and Mende lingo huffing and puffing baritone to get the listenership ready for him to dissect. 𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗠𝗔𝗡’𝘀 vanilla vocals comes heavy on the first verse with distinct electronics of the amapiano genre, cutting the mix and claps also reverberating on iterations. Towards the end of the first chorus, 𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗢 once again announces his arrival to capture the second verse and the rest we say is history! 𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗠𝗔𝗡 has another HIT for ‘sho.
