Cyber-Surveillance Weapon ABUSE: Activists, Politicians & Journos Targeted! (Report)

Spyware sold to a host of nations by the NSO group in Israel has reportedly been uncovered by a wide-media investigation including the Guardian. The hacking software Pegasus was allegedly used (designed to be used against criminals and terrorists).

The malware infects Iphones and Androids to extract data and activate microphones. Around 50,000 numbers are allegedly on the list according to rights groups including Amnesty - which includes presidents and prime ministers, as well as hundreds of business executives, religious figures and journalists. One ruler apparently is even having his family monitored. A Mexican freelancer, who was murdered after being located at a car wash, was also on the list. His phone was never found.

NSO has denied the "false claims" regarding the activities of its clients. The analysis shows 10 governments including Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Hungary, India and the UAE.

Haiti Assassins TRAINED By U.S. Military?

The Pentagon has admitted that some of the alleged assassins of Haitian President Jovenel Moise were trained by America's military.

“A review of our training databases indicates that a small number of the Colombian individuals detained as part of this investigation had participated in past US military training and education programs, while serving as active members of the Colombian Military Forces,” Lt. Col. Ken Hoffman said on behalf of the Pentagon.

This revelation comes on the heels of reports that at least one of the alleged assassins was an informant for the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and several others may have had ties to the FBI.

The DEA has denied involvement in the assassination, saying that none of the suspects were acting on its behalf. The FBI is assisting in the investigation of Moise’s killing.

Brain-reading implant puts disabled man’s thoughts into words! (New England Journal of Medicine)

In what is seen as a "unimagined accomplishment", "Pancho", a paralyzed man, who lost his ability to speak out loud, successfully used a neural implant that was able to read his thoughts and convert them into written words.

The neural implant picks up on Pancho's intention when he tries to speak out loud, decodes his thoughts into specific words, and displays them on a screen.

The accomplishment is considered a "holy grail-level" discovery in the world of brain-computer interface research.

“This is farther than we’ve ever imagined we could go,” Oregon Health & Science University neurologist, Melanie Fried-Oken told the NYT.

Facebook FIRED 52 employees caught SPYING - book reveals (Report)

Zuckerberg’s employees allegedly ABUSED their access to the social network’s user data between 2014 and 2015, including male associates apparently obtaining location information on women for their own personal gains.

FB engineers were also caught reportedly accessing private messages from accounts and viewing deleted photographs, according to a book titled: “An Ugly Truth: Inside Facebook’s Battle for Domination” by journalists Sheera Frenkel and Cecilia Kang.

According to one shocking excerpt in the Daily Telegraph, a male employee accessed the location data of a woman he had gone on holiday with after she left him following a fight – tracking her down to her new hotel and confronting her.

At the time, over 16,000 employees had access to private user data – the authors posing the question how many other staff could have abused their privilege, but were never caught?
