Jagaban Reaches Out to Mile 71 Community — Donates NLe 10,000 to Rebuild Evangelical Model School, Pledges Ongoing Support for Education

Mile 71, Masiaka-Bo Highway, Tonkolili District – 30 June 2025—In a heartfelt effort to address the pressing educational challenges of the Mile 71 community, Alhaji Mohamed Omodu Kamara—widely known as APC Jagaban—made a pivotal stop during his journey from Kenema. Greeted by a warm and enthusiastic crowd, residents shared their deep concerns over the deteriorating state of the Evangelical Model School (EMS), prompting Jagaban to personally visit the site for a firsthand assessment of its crumbling infrastructure.

Disturbed by what he witnessed, Jagaban encouraged the community to dismantle the existing structure and replace it with a temporary building using corrugated iron sheets—serving as a short-term solution. He pledged to support the development of an ultra-modern facility to provide a long-lasting, dignified learning environment for the children.

As a seasoned mobilizer, philanthropist, and leading aspirant of the All People’s Congress (APC), Jagaban reaffirmed his commitment to grassroots development and inclusive education across Sierra Leone. His intervention comes at a critical moment for the community, where years of neglect and underfunding have left hundreds of pupils learning in unsafe and inadequate conditions.

In a bold and compassionate gesture, Jagaban donated NLe 10,000 (Ten Thousand New Leones) as seed funding to initiate the construction of a new, well-equipped school. He further pledged ongoing financial and logistical support to ensure the project's successful completion and long-term sustainability.

Beyond infrastructure, Jagaban promised to provide essential learning materials, including textbooks, school uniforms, stationery, and classroom furniture. Kabala, Koinadugu District 27 June 2025— A dynamic group of women from Kabala, calling themselves the “Queens of Jagaban,” gathered to express their strong support for Alhaji Mohamed Omodu Kamara better known as Jagaban, a key aspirant under the All Peoples Congress (APC) ahead of the 2026 elections.

In a symbolic show of loyalty, the women presented a colorful array of fresh fruits to Jagaban, representing their belief in his vision for a prosperous and united Sierra Leone. Madam Isha Marrah, Chairlady of the group, emphasized their dedication to his leadership and promised continued grassroots support and mobilization.

“This is more than just fruit,” said Madam Marrah. “It’s a commitment to stand with Jagaban all the way to 2026.”
