5. Sierra Leone was the first country to have Airline & Airport in 1927.
6. Freetown became the first city in West Africa where plane landed in 1927.
7. Sierra Leone was the first and the only country to have Tropical Hospital in 1925.
8. Sierra Leone was the first country to have School back in 1794.
9. Sierra Leone was the first country to have University in 1827.
10. Sierra Leone was the first country to have Hospital for the Mentally Retardants in 1920.
11. Sierra Leone was the first country in West Africa where Motor Vehicles was introduced in 1912.
