We always hear about Mandela, but what about the other giants who gave their lives for Africa’s freedom?

Patrice Lumumba (Congo 🇨🇩) – Congo’s first Prime Minister, who fought for true independence but was assassinated in 1961.

Thomas Sankara (Burkina Faso 🇧🇫) – “The African Che Guevara.” He rejected foreign aid, promoted self-reliance, and was assassinated in 1987.

Dedan Kimathi (Kenya 🇰🇪) – The Mau Mau leader who led the armed struggle against British colonial rule. Executed in 1957.

Smílcar Cabral (Guinea-Bissau & Cape Verde 🇬🇼 🇨🇻) – Revolutionary thinker and guerrilla leader who led the fight against Portuguese rule.

Amorim Sack 'Imminent' as Man Utd Target 53-Year-Old Manager

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim's sacking is 'imminent', and they are now targeting Zinedine Zidane as his replacement, according to a report from Fichajes.

It's not only been a poor start to the 2025/2026 campaign for United, the Manchester club have struggled under Ruben Amorim since he arrived last year. The Red Devils finished in the bottom half of the Premier League during the 2024/2025 season, failing to lift a trophy. United came close to winning silverware, but they were defeated in the Europa League final by Tottenham Hotspur.

So far this term, United suffered a 1-0 defeat at home to Arsenal in their opening game of the Premier League campaign. It was a respectable performance from Amorim's side, but they followed that up with a disappointing draw against Fulham. On Wednesday night, United were then knocked out of their first cup competition of the season by League Two side Grimsby Town, losing on penalties.

The Dinka people are from the latest country in the world( South Sudan). There tall slender body are characterized by their beautiful dark skin.

The Dinka are one of the largest ethnic groups in the Republic of Sudan. They belong to a group of cultures known as the Nilotic peoples, all of whom live in the southern Sudan.

In 1983, a civil war erupted in the Sudan, pitting the largely Arab and Muslim northern Sudan against the black African peoples of the south. Lasting into the 1990s, the war has had dire consequences for the Dinka and other Nilotic peoples. Tens of thousands of Dinka have died; countless others have become refugees.

The Dinka inhabit a vast region in the south of the Sudan that forms a seasonal swampland when the Nile River floods. Due to civil war, large numbers of Dinka have migrated from the southern Sudan to the northern Sudanese capital of Khartoum, as well as to Kenya, Uganda, Europe, and the United

The Dinka have a diverse vocabulary with which to describe their world. It is estimated that they have more than 400 to refer to cattle alone—their movements, their diseases, and their variety in color and form.
