The recent protest in Liberia against the widespread abuse and trafficking of illicit drugs sends a powerful message. But the fight must go beyond the streets.

In our communities, many of us are aware of those involved in the drug trade,yet we remain silent. That silence enables destruction. It's time for collective courage: let’s hold these individuals accountable through legal and community-driven actions.

We urge our fellow Sierra Leoneans to draw inspiration from Liberia’s bold step. The time for action is now. Let us protect our youth, our future, and our nation from the grip of drugs.

NOTE; Turning a blind eye to wrongdoing is as dangerous as committing the act itself. When communities choose silence over action, they allow destruction to grow. The fight against drugs is not just the government's responsibility, it is a moral duty for every citizen. Courage begins with speaking out, protecting our youth, and standing up for what is right, even when it is difficult.
