The highly anticipated event will take place across three continents, beginning in London, United Kingdom, on May 30, 2026, followed by Silver Spring, United States, on August 21, 2026, and concluding in Freetown on December 29, 2026. This strategic expansion reflects the growing commitment to strengthening ties between Sierra Leone and its global diaspora community.

SLDIC continues to serve as a premier platform that brings together Sierra Leonean government leaders, business executives, entrepreneurs, and diaspora investors with a shared goal of driving sustainable economic growth back home. By hosting the conference in key diaspora hubs before culminating in Freetown, organizers aim to convert conversations into tangible investments and partnerships that directly benefit Sierra Leone’s development.
