BBN LAUNCHES NEW MEDIA PODCAST AND MULTIMEDIA STUDIO

Believers Broadcasting Network (BBN) has officially launched its new Media Podcast and Multimedia Studio at 95 Main Regent Road, SS Camp.

The modern facility is equipped for the production of podcasts, videos and other digital content aimed at educating, inspiring and transforming lives in Sierra Leone and beyond.

Speaking at the launch, BBN CEO Ransford S. C. Wright reflected on the network’s journey since its establishment and broadcasting licence in 1993, emphasizing that although communication platforms may evolve, BBN’s mission of spreading the Gospel remains unchanged.

Church leaders and guests commended the initiative, with Bishop Arnold C. Temple of the Council of Churches in Sierra Leone describing the studio as an important tool for advancing the Great Commission through media.

The ceremony ended with prayers, the dedication of the studio and a symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony.

LET PASTORS DO THE WORK TO WHICH GOD HAS CALLED THEM

If people are genuinely looking for issues to criticize, there are countless social, moral and community challenges around us that deserve attention. Even when young girls in schools post inappropriate videos online, some who are quick to criticize Christian leaders are often silent. This raises a serious question: Are we seeking societal transformation, or simply looking for people to attack?

Pastor Mambu is a pastor, and part of his responsibility is to proclaim truth, confront wrongdoing and call people toward righteousness. Paul instructed Timothy to “preach the word… reprove, rebuke, and exhort” (2 Timothy 4:2). Likewise, Ezekiel 33:1–7 presents the prophet as a watchman responsible for warning people of danger. Therefore, speaking on difficult moral issues is not necessarily an attack; it can be an expression of pastoral responsibility.

If we disagree with Pastor Mambu, let us engage his views respectfully and biblically, “speaking the truth in love” (Ephesians 4:15). But we should also ask ourselves what we are doing to positively transform society.

Pastor Mambu's contribution extends beyond preaching. Through schools, media, agriculture, bakery operations and community clinics, his work has created employment, supported families and contributed to communities. This reflects the biblical principle that faith must be demonstrated through practical action (James 2:15–17).

Christian leadership is therefore not limited to the pulpit. It includes speaking truth, serving people, creating opportunities and contributing to the wellbeing of society.

Before we condemn a pastor for doing what he believes God has called him to do, perhaps we should examine our own contribution. “Let each one test his own work” (Galatians 6:4).

There is enough brokenness around us to demand constructive action from all of us.

Leave Pa Mambu to do his work. Let us also do ours.

BUILDING OUR WALK WITH GOD

Grace and Truth Christian Ministry, a dynamic network committed to teaching the uncompromising Word of God, fostering a lifestyle of prayer, and reaching the lost through evangelism, successfully held a powerful pastors’ training session in Freetown, Sierra Leone. The training took place at God’s Kingdom Harvest Ministry in Laka, under the leadership of Pastor Joshua Dot-Sesay. It was a deeply enriching experience, bringing together pastors and ministry leaders who were united in their passion to grow spiritually and strengthen their understanding of God’s Word.
..

Throughout the training, participants engaged in impactful teachings, fervent prayer sessions, and meaningful discussions that emphasized sound doctrine and effective ministry. The atmosphere was filled with hunger for truth, unity, and a renewed commitment to advancing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Attendees left empowered, refreshed, and better equipped to lead with clarity, boldness, and spiritual insight in their respective ministries.

The Importance of Unity Among Believers

Unity among believers is one of the most important principles taught in the Bible. God desires His people to live in harmony, love one another, and work together in faith. When believers are united, the church becomes stronger, the gospel spreads more effectively, and the presence of God is clearly seen among His people.

Jesus Himself prayed for unity among His followers. In Gospel of John 17:21, He said, “That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee.” This prayer shows that unity among believers reflects the relationship between the Father and the Son. When Christians live in unity, it becomes a testimony to the world that they truly belong to Christ.

The early church demonstrated this unity. In Acts of the Apostles 2:44, the Bible says, “All that believed were together, and had all things common.” Their unity helped the church grow rapidly and strengthened their fellowship and support for one another.

The Apostle Paul the Apostle also emphasized unity in Epistle to the Ephesians 4:3, urging believers to be “endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” This means believers must intentionally maintain peace, humility, patience, and love with one another.

Unity does not mean everyone is the same, but it means believers share the same faith, purpose, and commitment to Christ. In First Epistle to the Corinthians 12:12, the church is described as one body with many members. Each person has a different role, yet all work together for the glory of God.

In conclusion, unity among believers brings strength, spiritual growth, and effectiveness in God’s work. When Christians walk in love, forgiveness, and cooperation, they reflect the character of Christ and fulfill God’s purpose for His church.
