The The Associates Global Media Network *(TAGMeN),* in collaboration with AASMEG, paid a distinguished courtesy visit to His Excellency Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, former President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, at his residence.

The visit was a meaningful occasion to honour and appreciate *His Excellency for his service to Sierra Leone and his contributions to national development. As a special token of respect and recognition, *TAGMeN and AASMEG* presented him with a beautifully designed and carefully prepared large framed gift.

His Excellency warmly received the delegation and graciously shared words of wisdom, valuable advice, and encouragement. His reflections and guidance added great value to the engagement and made the occasion particularly memorable.

Today, 12th September 2026, I was pleased to make a donation of essential cleaning tools to the Ward 430 and Ward 431 Executives of Constituency 125, at the Kroobay Community.

The donation is intended to support our ward executives in their continued efforts to promote cleanliness, environmental sanitation, and community development.

THE MENTOR AND THE MENTEE: FOLLOWING THE TRAIL

ERNEST BAI KOROMA AND RICHARD KONTEH - LEADERSHIP ACROSS GENERATIONS

Leadership is not inherited merely by proximity to a great leader. Legacy is carried forward through service, experience, learning and the capacity to lead a new generation.

For years, Dr Richard Konteh - D-Unifier - served under former President Dr Ernest Bai Koroma.

He served as Deputy Minister of Finance, Minister of Trade and Industry and ultimately Chief of Staff at State House - positions that placed him at the heart of the Koroma administration and exposed him directly to the demands and complexities of national leadership.

Koroma led. Richard served, observed and learned.

Today, as Dr Richard Konteh charts his own political journey, there is a sense of following the trail - not by attempting to replicate Ernest Bai Koroma, but by drawing upon the experience, lessons and understanding gained from serving alongside him.

A mentee does not become a replica of his mentor. He learns from the past and prepares himself for the challenges of a new era.

Today, the APC needs reconciliation and renewal. Sierra Leone needs stronger institutions, opportunities for its young people and leadership capable of bringing a divided nation together.

That is where D-Unifier presents his case.

His message of Justice • Unity • Renewal draws upon years of public service while responding to today's demands for constitutionalism, accountability and national reconciliation.

There is something symbolic about President Koroma's return home at this moment.

The former President returns speaking of peace, reconciliation and national cohesion.

The man who once served at the centre of his administration is campaigning as The Unifier.

The circumstances are different. The generation is changing. But the trail of leadership continues.

This is not about entitlement or presumed endorsement. President Koroma's legacy belongs to the APC family and to history.

Dear Comrade Hydara (Kenema)

I wish to personally extend my deepest appreciation and gratitude you for your unwavering service, commitment and support throughout my pronouncement event.

Your cameras, microphones, publications, live coverage, graphics, interviews, social media engagements and countless hours behind the scenes helped to tell the story of the day and ensure that the message reached far beyond the venue.

I recognise that media work requires dedication, sacrifice, patience and professionalism. You gave all of these generously, not because you were merely performing a duty, but because you believed in the significance of the journey and chose to stand with me.
