The Capacity Building Initiative for Transparency Project enhances capacity building, establishes monitoring, verification, and reporting (MRV) systems, and builds institutional and technical capacities to meet the requirements of the Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF) and internationally agreed mechanisms to track the progress of countries’ nationally determined contributions (NDC).

The peer-to-peer visit helped us gain a general understanding of the climate change structures in Liberia and the implementation dynamics of the CBIT project there, including lessons learned during the project implementation, gender considerations, stakeholder engagement, challenges, systems put in place, and collaboration among key stakeholders
