Three people have tragically died in a fatal road accident along the New York–Waterloo Highway in Freetown. Several others were seriously injured and have been taken to Rokupa Government Hospital for emergency treatment.

Eyewitnesses described the scene as heartbreaking, with debris strewn across the road and victims in critical condition. Local residents voiced increasing alarm over the frequent accidents on this stretch, calling it a “death trap” that continues to claim lives.

Authorities have not yet disclosed the identities of the victims or the cause of the crash, but an investigation is currently underway.
