A new philanthropic investment vehicle, the Africa Jobs Fund, has emerged with an ambitious mission: to unlock $100 million in catalytic capital aimed at building companies that dramatically increase job quality and income levels across Africa.
Founded by entrepreneur Daniel Yu (known for scaling Wasoko) and recruitment founder Ben Hyman of Talent Safari, the fund is positioning itself not as a traditional VC, but as a job creation engine disguised as a venture fund.
