The Chinese Embassy in Sierra Leone has provided a donation of equipment to the Sierra Leone Police (SLP) in support of the SLP's Safe City Project. The handover ceremony was attended by Minister Councillor Zhang Dianbin of the Embassy, Inspector General of Police Mr. William Fayia Sellu, and Assistant Inspector General Dr. Martin Senesie, among other dignitaries. Minister Councillor Zhang emphasized that this contribution represents a tangible step in the implementation of the Global Security Initiative (GSI) and underscores the mutual dedication of China and Sierra Leone to public safety and the welfare of their citizens. The donated equipment, which includes cameras, monitors, and laptops, will be deployed in major cities such as Makeni, Kenema, and Port Loko.
