Today, 10th June 2026, our volunteer Fatmata Mansaray proudly represented the Executive Director, Ms. Lydia Kadie Tucker on behalf of LYDIA Network at the African Pleasure Hub – Sierra Leone Caucus workshop.

The Pleasure Socialization & Integration Workshop brought together young people working on SRHR to explore the Pleasure Principles and how to integrate them into awareness and programming in their operational areas.

Held at the Plan Youth Center at 10:00 AM, the session created space for open dialogue, learning, and collaboration among youth advocates driving SRHR work across Sierra Leone.

We’re proud of Fatmata for stepping up to represent our Executive Director and for carrying our commitment to youth-centered, informed, and inclusive conversations forward.

We are glad to share that one of our dedicated volunteers, Mariama A Kamara, is representing LYDIA Network today 9th June on Liberty TV Online - Uman Den Voice program, on the topic: Women at the Forefront: Leadership, Service, and Mental Health in Today’s Society at 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM.

Mariama will be joining Fudiatu Becky Worliikoh and Isatu Michella Bangura to speak on the role of women in leadership, community service, and advancing mental health conversations in our society.

This is what it looks like when young women step up, speak out, and lead. We’re proud of Mariama for carrying the LYDIA Network voice to a wider audience.
