Meet Ibrahim Bakar
Entrepreneur | Digital Marketer | Music Publishing Consultant | Connector Between Artists & Businesses

About Me:
I’m a Sierra Leonean entrepreneur and digital marketing professional with a passion for bridging the entertainment industry with businesses and brands. I help musicians, producers, and entrepreneurs identify growth opportunities, monetize their work, and build strategic collaborations that create shared value.

Born and raised in Freetown, I grew up exploring diverse environments and schools, which shaped my adaptability, curiosity, and problem-solving skills. Early exposure to business through my mother’s trading ventures and my father’s agricultural work instilled in me a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial mindset.

I began my professional journey in entertainment as a teenage DJ, building and selling innovative monitoring systems and teaching Virtual DJ techniques. These experiences sparked my love for technology, creativity, and audience engagement. Later, I transitioned to digital marketing, working with top Sierra Leonean artists and brands — including Kracktwist, Samza, Arkman, Colabo (All-Star President), AYV DSTV, and King’s Empire — where I honed skills in branding, content creation, social media management, and distribution strategy.

To formalize my expertise, I completed advanced online programs in Digital Marketing & Business through Max Business School, MIT, and Harvard Online, mastering tools like Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, InDesign, and Microsoft Office. I’m currently pursuing Business Administration & Management at the University of Makeni, allowing me to translate creative ideas into scalable business solutions.

I am the founder of Fizclusive Digital Marketing and Fizclusive Furnitures, ventures that reflect my dual focus: empowering creative talent and driving entrepreneurship. My mission is to create platforms where artists, marketers, producers, stylists, and business owners thrive together — generating income, visibility, and sustainable growth.

Core Skills & Services:

Natasha Beckley’s “Free Verse” That Later Cost Her Over $50,000

I was having dinner with Natasha Beckley, (TunexBeats), Colabo_Official . Natasha shared a story that at first sounded unbelievable — but it carried a big lesson for every entertainer.

While Natasha was in the U.S., someone told her:

“Natasha, I’ve got a link with Timaya. He’s ready to give you a verse on your song — for free!”

Excited, Natasha reached out. Timaya agreed to do the verse. But as the process unfolded, what started as a “free” verse quickly turned into a big project — not because Timaya charged her, but because the collaboration naturally involved flights, hotels, producers, stylists, and videographers.

Timaya preferred to record in Atlanta. Natasha arranged flights — first class for Timaya, economy for his personal assistant — and booked a five-star hotel with two rooms for three days. She also hosted dinners, club outings, and special requests to make sure everything ran smoothly.

For the recording, Timaya used his trusted producer, and after the session, the verse was fire — Grammy-level quality. For the music video, only Timaya’s personal videographer handled the shoot, and his stylist did all the outfits. Natasha covered all the production costs, costumes, and location fees.

What began as a free verse ended up costing \$50,000 to \$100,000— flights, hotel, production, stylist, videographer, costumes, and extras.

Natasha laughed as she shared the story, but the lesson was clear:

“In music, it’s not only the artist who needs to eat — the whole team needs to eat. Timaya’s verse might have been free, but his team still had to get paid. If you don’t create opportunities that reward your team, your career won’t move forward.
>
> Your producer, videographer, photographer, digital marketer, stylist — they all help build your brand. If you want to shine, make sure everyone who contributes has a reason to stay motivated.”

The moral is simple: **Build a platform where your whole team can benefit.** Success isn’t just about you eating alone — it’s about creating value so everyone who supports you can grow too.

A Message to APRIILL – From Fizclusive

To the young new school artist APRIILL,
I see you. I see your talent, your energy, your hunger. Your new track “Oway ” is making waves, and the streets are starting to recognize your name.

That’s powerful — but here’s my advice to you:

Don’t pay too much attention to the noise. The hype, the praise, the “you’re the best” comments — they feel good, but they can also be a trap. If you listen too much to the voices of people, you’ll start creating for them, not from your own spirit. And eventually, that leads to confusion, burnout, or worse — disappearing without leaving a legacy.

Stay focused on your craft. What makes you unique? What story are you trying to tell through your music? Lock into that and build from there. You need a branding strategy — not just for now, but for the next 5 to 10 years.

Think of the big picture:
• What do you want your identity to be?
• What colors, visuals, and themes represent you?
• What kind of songs will you drop — and when? • What artists do you want to collaborate with, and why?
• What shows should you attend or avoid? • How often will you release? Albums, EPs?
• When will you do photo or video shoots? How will it all connect?Don’t wait for things to happen randomly. Plan them.

Be intentional.
Fame without structure can confuse you. Hype without vision can destroy you.
So keep working, stay grounded, and stay ahead — not just in music, but in strategy, branding, and self-awareness.

We’re watching. We’re rooting for you.

Now go build something Legendary

Why Do We Keep Saying “Sierra Leone Is Hard”?

Every day, we hear the same thing — “Sierra Leone is hard, there are no opportunities, nothing is working.” But let’s pause for a moment and look around…

The Lebanese are here. The Indians are here. The Chinese are here. They’re not just surviving — they’re thriving. They’re opening shops, building mansions, running factories, owning businesses in every corner of this country. And guess what? They’re sending the money back to their countries to empower their own people.

Meanwhile, we the sons and daughters of this soil are busy complaining instead of creating. We wait for jobs instead of starting something small. We look down on the very land that others are using to build empires.

Truth is, Sierra Leone is full of opportunities.

From agriculture to manufacturing, tech, construction, fashion, food, events, furniture, real estate — the market is wide open! The demand is there, the people are here, and the potential is endless. All we need is vision, courage, and a willingness to start from somewhere — even if it’s small.

Let this be a wake-up call.
If foreigners can come here and make it, why not us?
This is OUR land.
Let’s take ownership.
Let’s build.
Let’s create.
Let’s change the narrative.

Sierra Leone is not hard — it’s just waiting for the right mindset.
