"We need to bring more women from our country" said Ambassador Mohamed Yangawo

The Sierra Leone Ambassador to Russia Mr Moahmed Yongawo visited Russia on the 18th of May 2024. The purposed of this visit was the initiative he held upon years back to build a special partnership between the Sierra Leone and Russia government. His visit was mainly into the Alabuga Polytech; i.e. the Alabuga Special Economic Zone (SEZ), where he went as a guest to familiarized himself with the center's program and laboratories. He also toured to the residential complex, built with the city of Yelabuga at the Yuzhiny Park residential complex. There he met with employees representing Sierra Leone, and engage with personal discission with the participants of the Alabuga Start Program from Sierra Leone.
These were his exact words below from the visit;
"I am delighted to be here. Prior to my visit to Alabuga, I had mixed feelings but now I am 95% pleased with what I have experience. I was truly impressed by the special economic zone and Alabuga Polytech" said Mr Mohamed Yongawo.
After the discussion with the employees and participants of the Alabuga Start Program from Sierra Leone he shared these words to the media;
"I believe there is a great opportunity for more young people from Sierra Leone to join Alabuga. Currently, we only have 5 women in the program, but it would be fantastic to have 30 participants. These young ladies will gain expertise in a new profession at Alabuga". (M. Yongawo)
His final statement to the participants were words of encouragement tailored to to take care good care of themselves. Finally, he emphasized that the Alabuga Start Program which is an international program is for ambitious young women aged 18-22. As an Ambassador, he pointed out this opportunity for SierraLeoneans young ladies to relocate to Russian and pursue a Successful Career. He urged them to attain this opportunity.
