In his just published academic paper, Youth Agency, Youth Resistance, and The Politics of Future-Making in Mozambique published on the International Journal of Adolescence and Youth, Flagbearer Aspirant of the main opposition All People Congress (APC) Dr Ibrahim Bangura argues that youth mobilization in Mozambique ( Movement, 2024 Post Election Protest) isn’t just reactive grievance politics rather it’s active future-making where youth are constructing alternative political and developmental visions nor merely protesting present conditions. The academic article highlights four findings including structural exclusion, digital platforms expand agency, youth movement contest state development/ democratic narratives and state repression or co-option.

It is not to take but to give, All People Congress (APC) Flagbearer Aspirant, Dr Ibrahim Bangura tells a gathering in UK, noting that the race they are in as Flagbearers is not supposed to be full of hate and acrimony. “I worked for the APC as a child but the APC does not owe me anything. President Bio has told the Development Partnership Committee (DECAP) that Census Night remains fixed on the 1st December, revealing that the cost of the Census is $37M for which Government is committed to providing $24M and has already disbursed $15M for the exercise. “Partners have made commitment of approximately $1.5M leaving a finance gap of $11.5M alongside the outstanding balance of Government Commitment,” President Bio said, urging partners to help close the remaining gap.

Over $100,000 corruption allegation rocks Sierra Leone Football Association(SLFA). The FA’s Finance Manager, Ibrahim Bah puts on suspension.
