Tribute to a Decent Soul - Joseph Mansaray, Principal Kabala Secondary School Senior.
It is only now that I a beginning to come to terms with the shock of your sudden passing. I have always said I can’t post a picture of someone I know with the caption RIP - I just can’t manage that 😢.
So, J. Mans, I won’t break that today. I didn’t do it when my dad passed, and just like then, I choose not to mourn but to celebrate your life.
I am celebrating your short stay on earth - full of massive achievements and those bright, comforting smiles 😃 that always lifted others.
J. Mans, you followed me on TikTok, and I always enjoyed your videos. They inspired me and gave me strength. I remember wishing you a happy birthday 🎂, and you always replied with kindness and humility.
I had the privilege of working with you when I was the District Inclusion Officer for Koinadugu. Your openness to new ideas, your calm spirit, and your thoughtful contributions were unmatched. During trainings and meetings, you always waited patiently until the end, and your inputs were learning moments for all of us.
You supported the Girls and Boys Clubs in your school, the Teacher Learning Circles, the Winning Team - always showing up, always giving your best.
You will always be remembered as a decent soul with a warm heart and an unforgettable smile 😃. A true go-getter. A leader.
Being chosen by your peers as Chair for the School Leadership Program in Koinadugu and Falaba was a testament to your hard work and integrity.
Take your rest now, my brother and colleague. Your memory will live on 🙏
My brother, principal, chair, and mentor - sail through in peace ✌️
