Yesterday, I had the privilege of witnessing the Sign-Out Ceremony at Eastern Technical University in celebration of a dear brother, friend and colleague of Star Line Radio Kenema, Mohamed Coker famed as the DJ Top Cee (BSC Social Work).

Congratulations on this remarkable achievement, and best wishes for a bright and successful future.

The U.S. Embassy, in collaboration with Maraki Analytics, has successfully trained journalists from the South-Eastern Region on Digital Media to strengthen their professional capacity and enhance media practice.

The training, held from 25th to 27th June 2026 in Bo City, focused on equipping and empowering journalists with practical digital media skills, audience engagement and management strategies, AI literacy, and sustainable digital communication approaches aimed at improving newsroom performance and strengthening public trust.

Special thanks to Md. Massah Sellu, Station Manager of Star Line Radio FM 98.5 Kenema, for facilitating my three-day stay in Bo.
