Things you needs to know about air pollution especially it effects on our children
🧠 What if the air your child breathes harms their brain?
Air pollution is an urgent, invisible threat – linked not just to lung disease but also stroke, heart disease, dementia, anxiety and depression.
🧒🏽 Children are most at risk: their lungs are still growing, they breathe faster, and they spend more time outdoors.
🌍 9 in 10 people breathe air that fails WHO standards.
🫁 Tiny particles can reach deep into lungs – and the brain.
*What helps?*
🚶 Avoid busy roads when possible.
🏠 Instead of using wood, coal or kerosene at home, try to use cleaner fuels like electricity or LPG (liquefied petroleum gas).
🏛️ But real change needs bold laws to clean our air.
Cities like Paris, London and Bogota have cut air pollution with policies like green spaces, electric buses and low-emission zones.
