SWASAL NORTH VISITS NEWLY WEDDED MR & MRS LAMA KAMARA IN FADUGU.
On behalf of the General membership, our SWASAL-North Executive members on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 paid a special courtesy visit to one of our esteemed SWASAL North Golden Jubilee Members, Mohamed Lama Kamara and his newly weeded wife Mrs Hawa Lama Kamara, following their successful wedding ceremony which took place on April 26th,2026 in Fadugu Town , Koinadugu District.
The delegation led by our Chairman, Alusine Rehme Wilson included our Acting Organizing Secretary Kabia Alfred Zico, our Secretary General Umaro Saidu Turay who travelled to Fadugu to officially meet, congratulate and present gifts to the latest couple on behalf of the SWASAL Membership.
The gifts included an envelope from the membership plus a customized carved plague presented to Mr. and Mrs Lama Kamara in appreciation and support of our newly weeded colleague, who has been modest, hardworking and dedicated to both his work and the dealings of the Sports Writers Association of Sierra Leone.
Presenting the gifts, Chairman Alusine Rehme Wilson extend warm regards from the membership, om whose behalf he also apologized for not showing up on the weeding day as a result of a road crash they miraculously survived on their way from the SWASAL Annual General Meeting en route to Fadugu for the weeding.
He praised Lama's brilliance in his dealings as well as his practices as the second ever SWASAL members from Koinadugu District after Lansana Lahai, encouraged the wife to handle her newly weeded couple with care and for her to always stand by him at all times including greenlighting SWASAL his related undertakings.
His sentiment was re-echoed by both our SWASAL Northern Region Secretary General and Acting Organizing Secretary who also advised and prayed for the couples.
On their part, the excited couples extended their appreciation and unraveled thanks and appreciation to SWASAL Northern Region for show of love, and concern for their family.
They entertained the SWASAL Northern Region delegation and wished them well with a memorable religiously iced send-off.
The move by our executive reaffirms our unraveled desire to prioritizing our membership welfare, standing by and supporting them particularly, the most committed ones like Lama Kamara, in line with the rebrand manifesto.
Today and always, we wish our colleague and his newly weeded wife a peaceful,successful and a blessed Marriage life, filled with love ,unity and prosperity.
