Meet Santigie and Rebecca, Contributing to the Mission and Vision of Bai Bureh Heritage Foundation Sierra Leone
As the Founder and Executive Director of the Bai Bureh Heritage Foundation (BBHF), I am profoundly delighted to extend my heartfelt appreciation to two of outstanding staff members, Santigie Ibrahim Kargbo (S*K) and Rebecca Jannet Kamara, for their remarkable commitment and dedication in advancing the mission and vision of our foundation. Their journey from beneficiaries of the 2024 Bai Bureh Heritage Foundation and Fruitful Healthcare Post-Secondary Internship Program to key members of our team is a true testament to the power of hard work, perseverance, and passion for community development. Mr. Santigie Ibrahim Kargbo, serving as our IT Focal Person, has displayed exceptional dedication to ensuring the smooth operation and effectiveness of our Free Computer Training Program for youths in Port Loko. His tireless efforts in managing the program, addressing technical challenges, and creating an enabling learning environment have greatly enhanced our ability to empower young people with vital digital skills. His work reflects not only technical expertise but also a deep sense of responsibility and service to his community. Rebecca Jannet Kamara, in her role as Gender Officer, continues to inspire with her steadfast commitment and perseverance in promoting gender equality and inclusivity within our programs. Her proactive engagement in community outreach, mentorship, and advocacy for young girls has significantly strengthened our gender-focused initiatives. Rebecca’s passion for creating opportunities for young women aligns perfectly with the core values of the Bai Bureh Heritage Foundation, making her an invaluable member of our team. Recognizing their outstanding performance and unwavering dedication, the management of BBHF proudly appreciate Santigie and Rebecca as part of a team of like-minded young people driving positive change in our society.
